Terms & Conditions

SAHA Space — Terms & Conditions

By booking, accessing, or using SAHA Space, the client agrees to the following Terms & Conditions, along with any applicable Studio Policies published by SAHA SPACE INC. 

These Terms apply to the client, guests, team members, contractors, talent, vendors, and all third parties attending under the booking.

1. Bookings & Payments

All bookings must be paid in full unless otherwise agreed in writing.

A booking is considered confirmed only after payment has been received and confirmation has been issued by SAHA Space.

All payments are final.

SAHA Space reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or terminate bookings at its discretion.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Bookings are non-refundable.

Clients may request one reschedule or studio credit within the cancellation window specified in the Studio Policies.

Failure to appear for a booking is considered a no-show and is non-refundable.

SAHA Space reserves the right to evaluate exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis. 

3. Client Responsibility

The client remains fully responsible for:

  • damages to the studio, furniture, equipment, sets, props, or building areas

  • excessive cleaning requirements

  • overtime charges

  • missing items

  • violations of studio policies

  • damages caused by guests, vendors, pets, contractors, or third parties associated with the booking

SAHA Space reserves the right to invoice the client for any repair, replacement, cleaning, labor, repainting, or downtime costs resulting from damage or misuse of the space.

 

4. Overtime

Studio access ends at the scheduled booking end time.

Any additional occupancy of the studio, including setup, teardown, lingering guests, or equipment removal, may result in overtime charges.

Overtime is billed automatically in the increments outlined in the Studio Policies or booking confirmation. 

5. Use of the Space

Clients agree to use the studio responsibly and safely.

The studio may not be used for:

  • illegal activity

  • unsafe activity

  • explicit or unauthorized adult content

  • excessively disruptive productions

  • hate speech or discriminatory content

  • hazardous activity without approval

Smoking, vaping, open flames, haze, confetti, glitter, paint, body oils, liquids near equipment, or hazardous materials require prior written approval.

SAHA Space reserves the right to immediately terminate a booking without refund if the space is used in a way that violates these Terms or creates unsafe conditions. 

# 6. Studio Condition & Cleaning

Clients are expected to leave the studio in the same condition it was found.

This includes:

* removing garbage

* returning furniture and props to their original position

* cleaning excessive mess

* removing personal belongings

* respecting walls, floors, furniture, sets, and equipment

Additional cleaning, repainting, repair, or labor fees may apply if the studio is left excessively dirty or damaged. 

The individual who booked the session remains responsible for the condition of the studio and must be the final person to leave the space.

# 7. Furniture, Sets & Equipment

All studio furniture, movable walls, backdrops, props, cycloramas, signature sets, and equipment must be handled carefully and used only as intended.

Clients may not:

* drill into surfaces

* paint studio property

* use strong adhesives or tape without approval

* drag furniture across floors

* climb on sets not intended for climbing

* alter installations or lighting systems

* move furniture or equipment between rooms without permission

Certain installations, blinds, lighting systems, movable structures, or technical elements may only be operated by SAHA staff. 

Damage or misuse may result in replacement, repainting, repair, labor, or downtime fees.

# 8. Freight Elevator & Building Access

The freight elevator is shared with the building and operates on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise arranged in advance. 

Freight elevator access may require assistance from building staff or a studio representative.

The freight elevator is intended for equipment transport only. Passengers must use the main building elevator.

SAHA Space is not responsible for delays caused by:

* building operations

* elevator maintenance

* building staff availability

* other tenants

* loading dock congestion

Clients must follow all building access and loading procedures.

# 9. Group Size & Guests

Clients must comply with the maximum occupancy limits associated with their booking type.

The client is responsible for the conduct, safety, and supervision of all guests, vendors, contractors, talent, children, and pets attending under their booking. 

SAHA Space reserves the right to deny access to additional unapproved guests.

# 10. Pets

Pets are only permitted with prior approval and may be subject to an additional cleaning or damage fee. 

The client assumes full responsibility for any damages, stains, odors, shedding, or incidents caused by animals.

# 11. Assumption of Risk

The client understands that production environments may involve:

* lighting equipment

* suspended equipment

* cables

* movable structures

* ladders

* construction elements

* heavy furniture

* production gear

By entering the space, all guests voluntarily assume all associated risks.

# 12. Limitation of Liability

SAHA SPACE INC. is not responsible for:

* injuries

* accidents

* lost or stolen property

* interrupted productions

* internet interruptions

* equipment malfunction

* building-related interruptions

* power outages

* freight elevator delays

* force majeure events

All personal belongings, rental equipment, wardrobe, props, and production gear remain the sole responsibility of the client. 

To the maximum extent permitted under Ontario law, SAHA SPACE INC.’s liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the booking.

# 13. Surveillance & Security

Certain common areas of the building or studio premises may be monitored by security cameras for operational and safety purposes. 

By entering the premises, clients acknowledge and consent to such monitoring where permitted by law.

# 14. Photography & Promotional Use

SAHA Space may occasionally capture behind-the-scenes content of the studio environment for marketing or documentation purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing before the booking.

Clients retain ownership of the content they create during their session.

# 15. Personal Property

Clients are responsible for all personal belongings and production equipment brought into the space.

SAHA Space is not responsible for items left unattended in common areas or inside the studio. 

Items left behind after a reasonable holding period may be discarded.

# 16. Privacy

Client information is collected and used solely for booking, operational, communication, security, and legal purposes in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws.

---

# 17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

Any disputes arising from the use of SAHA Space shall be handled within Ontario, Canada.

# 18. Changes to Terms

SAHA Space reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

The latest published version applies to all future bookings.
